The wooden weapons made the master completely manually
from a carefully selected and prepared wood selected and cut in special places. The basic material for the manufacture of our wooden weapons we have chosen the southern species of trees, possessing unique properties of wood: walnut and robinia (white acacia).
Kizil — grows in the mountains of Crimea and in the Caucasus, wood is very durable, has a high density (more than 750 kg/m3) and hardness (more than 80 N/mm2). It is well polished wood, natural color of processed wood and white. At the collisions are not crumbles, doesn't crack - withstands significant and prolonged stress. Kizil bokkens are made not from the boards, and of the whole branches without knots, with preservation of the ring structure of the wood that gives them the strength and durability.

White acacia (robinia) — one of the most solid and southern species of wood, the wood has a sufficiently high density (more than 700 kg/m3) and hardness (more than 80 N/mm2). It is difficult to be processed and polished because of the high hardness and fibrous structure, the natural color of wood golden-yellow. Not crumbles, slightly вминается in case of strong collisions, for a long time to withstand heavy loads.
Processing of wood — long (about 2 years) and stage-by-stage (4-5 stages of drying), based on the traditions of masters of the past century, guarantees the high quality of our products. Complex and multi-level manufacturing technology, continuous selection of only the best materials, manual work and individual approach to each of the instance provide an excellent appearance, strength, durability and reliability of our weapons training. |
